1950's Chest of Drawers by Frank Guille for Austinsuite
Designed by F. Guille and produced in Englad by Austinsuit of London in the 60's. The chest features 6 rows of drawers with the bottom double size. Made of solid teak wood. In overall a very good vintage condition and in perfectly working order.
Frank Guille began working for the high-quality furniture company Austinsuite in the 50's, where he created a line of modern furniture that was well received by the public. He also worked for the G-Plan furniture brand in the 1960s, creating a range of modern, functional furniture for the British middle class.Throughout his career, Frank Guille has been recognized for his work in furniture design and has won several prestigious awards. He also worked as a lecturer in industrial design at the Birmingham School of Art and published articles on design. Frank Guille is considered one of the most influential furniture designers of post-war Britain.
