1951 Chair by A. Dutka in Red Velvet
The armchair was produced at least from May 1951 to January 1967. According to the information provided by a label stuck to the underside of the furniture it was produced in furniture factory in Prudnik, Poland. Already then, almost 3,400 copies were produced. It was presented at the Poznań International Fair at Roosevelta Street. Also caught on photo from the ceremony of awarding diplomas to the National Fair in Spring 1961. The chair has undergone a complete restoration process. It has been stripped down, all the insides were replaced, foams, inner linen, support belts and re upholstered in red velvet. The shape has been kept in every detail as original. Wood has been sanded, stained and secured with matt varnish exposing beautiful patina.
