1965 Chair by Edmund Homa, Model GFM-142 in Navy Blue Velvet
The author of GFM-142 is Professor Edmund Homa - one of the most outstanding Polish designers of the post-war period. The chair was produced in the second half of the 1960s in Gościcińska Fabryka Mebli. Their style refers to Scandinavian furniture, captivates with perfect proportions, solid workmanship and comfort of use. The chair has undergone a complete restoration process. It has been stripped down, all the insides were replaced, foams, inner linen, support belts and re upholstered in navy blue velvet. The shape has been kept in every detail as original. Wood has been sanded, stained and secured with matt varnish exposing beautiful patina.
