Adjustable Brass Floor Lamp from Sölken Leuchten, Germany 1970's
About
The city of Arnsberg in Germany, or 'The Capital of Light', and particular the borough of Neheim-Husten, was (and still continues to be) the home of a remarkable large number of lighting manufacturers. To name a few: Kaiser, Cosack and Hillebrand. Perhaps less known, but certainly as interesting, is Sölken Leuchten. During the 1960s and 1970s this company produced several highly decorative lighting fixtures and this, rare floor lamp is one of them. Made of solid brass in a fully working condition with a visable patina that gives the special effect.
